I keep a copy of your smile ........

Folk Heart [Country days 1987]

The holiday was over.  My daughter went out to the far-off town to go to the university today.
It is April in the new school term in Japan.
The daughter became a university student in April of the last year.
I  thought that I  can accommodate myself  to living apart from a daughter.
However, after all the parting is sad when I spend a happy holiday.  Tears fall...

Possibly I may be not able to accept that my   daughter isn't a child any longer.
It puts a burden on a daughter.
I must do something.   I must get a grip on myself more.

We traveled to Shiretoko on a holiday. Shiretoko is registered with a world heritage.
However, for the off-season, there were not many tourists.
Because we were weak in a crowd, we were just right.

Do you know the Godzilla? This rock is called a Godzilla rock in the hometown. It will be similar somehow.

Elizabeth's Garden
The motif of many tulips will be increases here. I look forward to it.

Thank you for visiting my small blog.
Take care not to catch a cold.
Have a happy day.

  1. It is very difficult when the children leave home. It is what we call 'empty nest' when the chicks have gone from the nest. I only have one son, and it was very hard for both of us, but it does become easier when you realize that you have equipped them with the skills to make it on their own. Sending my thoughts and hugs to keep you company. Maybe you have more time for your beautiful stitching?

After I came home from college my Mom and I spent more time together than ever before. In fact, now that I am older we really have much more fun than when I was a school kid. So, you have much to look forward to!

Your vacation looks wonderful. I hope to visit Japan someday.
