Tin container

The other day I went to secondhand store.
In the Store, I found this tin container.
Originally, it's the container in which a snack is put.

I want to use this to put finished products such as the cross-stitching.

I stitched the  same design with a different color.

BLACKBIRD DESIGNS

With Needle & Thread ......Tulip & Star Pinkeep

Fabric : Zweigart Belfast Linen

Fibers : Gentle Art and  Crescent Colours Belle Soie

Cloth uses diameter 12-13 centimeters of circularity.
It's sewn and shortened while putting cotton in the inside.
Next a container is made.

A hemp thread is tied including a pincushion.

Finally, the edge of the hemp yarn is soaked in wax.

A back one was made before.

How to make small pincushion

Space of stitch is 40ct☓40ct degree.
A mark of 10 cm of diameter is put for running stitch.

The felt cut roundly is sewn on a bottom part.

The synthetic leather is cut in a circle of 9cm in diameter.
I used a　Plastic file holder for a pattern.
The paper pattern of nine centimeters in the diameter made 32 holes the inside.
These holes are used to sew surroundings by the hemp yarn.

KIMONO

My daughter took a photograph in a kimono in commemoration of 20 years old.

SNOW AND ICE

A cold day continues.
However, the profound knowledge that snow and ice create is splendid.
The neighboring lake was frozen hard, and a church and a bar of the ice were built on ice.

STITCH

I made stitches of a red thread. I want to finish these to  mini-cushions.

AND..

I made a small flower with odds and ends of the linen.

I have finished making 12-month ornaments.
Because I did not have a Christmas tree.  my husband made the tree of wall hangings.

I have finished performing the stitch of the samplers for 12 months of  The Prairie Schooler.
It is 2008 that firstly I began a stitch. It was a sampler of March.
Then it is four years and a half year.
I was able to finally finish them.
These frames were made by my husband.





The garden was covered with pure white frost this morning. It will be that first snow falls soon.
It seems to be 100 years since the time of the first snow of the year being so late in this district last. Will a climate change little by little?

What does this look like?

This seemed to be made in the image of a back figure of [Le Penseur]
It is totally different from that when I look near.

It is the park which a local confectionery company established here. The beautiful building removed and rebuilt an old building in Croatia.

Winter approaches, and the neighboring marsh decreases quantity of water.
Can you find a white bird in the water from this photograph?
They are flocks of swans.

My favorite hot spring of the neighborhood of  mountaintop  has been already surrounded by snow. The scenery here is the best.
